1. What is Meals by Monique?
Meals by Monique is an in-home personal chef service. I prepare fresh, homemade meals right in your kitchen, handling everything from shopping, chopping, cooking, and seasoning, to packaging and cleaning. You enjoy delicious, wholesome meals without any of the stress.

2. What meal packages do you offer?
I offer several flexible options that be scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, or occasionally

  • The Meal Collection:

    • Essentials Box (2 meals x 4 servings) | $125 plus cost of ingredients

    • Everyday Box (3 meals x 4 servings) | $175 plus cost of ingredients

    • Ultimate Box (4 meals x 4 servings) | $225 | plus cost of ingredients

    • Weekly, bi-weekly, or occasional service available.

    • Weekly orders receive a 10 percent discount.

  • Custom Meal Prep: Tailored to your family’s tastes, dietary needs, or restrictions. Weekly, bi-weekly, or occasional scheduling is available.

  • Intimate Dinners & Small Events: In-home dinners for 2–6 guests or small parties for 8–20, with optional staff, wine, desserts, and themed menus.

 

3. Can the meals be customized?

Yes! Every package can be fully customized to suit your family’s preferences, dietary goals, or restrictions. I can accommodate special diets such as gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, or other specific requirements. You can also swap meals, request additional servings, or choose from international flavors, cozy comfort dishes, or lighter, calorie-conscious options.

 

4. How are meals delivered?
I cook in your kitchen. Meals are either ready to heat and enjoy immediately or can be packaged for you to finish cooking or baking at home. Your kitchen is left clean and ready to use.

 

5. How many servings do the meals provide?

  • The Meal Collection: Meals are typically portioned for 4 servings per dish, but this is entirely flexible. You can adjust to fewer or additional servings without changing the chef fee-only the cost of ingredients will be adjusted 

  • Custom Meal Prep: Portion sizes are flexible based on your needs

 

6. Are the meals freezer-friendly?
Yes, the Family Flex Box meals are designed to be freezer-friendly, so you can enjoy them later. The Meal Collection can also be prepared for freezing if requested.

 

7. How do I schedule service?
You can choose weekly, bi-weekly, or occasional service. Weekly bookings receive a 10 percent discount. Simply get in touch to discuss your preferred schedule, menu choices, and portion sizes.

 

8. What kind of meals do you prepare?

I create a wide variety of meals designed to delight every palate. Think cozy, comforting dishes like hearty stews, baked pastas, and layered casseroles, family favorites such as lasagna, pot pies, and shepherd’s pie, as well as flavorful international dishes including mild curries, tagine-style stews, and stir-fry kits. Meals are balanced, approachable, and adaptable, making it easy to enjoy both kid-approved favorites and sophisticated flavors without any of the work.

9. Can I request additional servings?
Absolutely! Additional servings can be added to any package to accommodate larger families, guests, or to provide extra leftovers.

 

10. Why choose in-home meal prep instead of ready-made delivery?
With in-home meal prep, you get fresh, customized meals prepared in your kitchen, tailored to your family’s tastes and dietary needs. You save time on planning, shopping, cooking, and cleaning, while enjoying meals that taste homemade.

 

11. What about ingredients and pricing?
Package prices cover my chef fee. Ingredients are purchased fresh for each service. Average grocery costs vary by package:

  • Essentials Box: ~$60

  • Everyday Box: ~$75

  • Ultimate Box: ~$110

12. Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes. I can customize meals for allergies, dietary preferences, or specific nutrition goals. Just let me know when you book your service.

 

13. How far in advance should I book?
To ensure availability, especially for popular dates and seasonal menus, it’s best to book at least one week in advance.
